You slowly pull yourself along the wall to the door. You slowly begin to recover your strength, and manage to stand upright in front of it without the support of the wall. It is painted green, and the paint on it is pealing. The sounds you can hear in the hall have grown louder; whatever is making them seems to be drawing closer, but it is impossible for you to discern specific words.
