Surrender to the police

You've been outnumbered quickly, and you don't have any more ammo, so you decide to surrender to the police. You're now in custody.
Now they question you. But it turns out to be more of a torture. You try to refuse to answer, but you aren't captured by terrorists. So you try to calm down and answer their questions.
You feel very terrible about being arrested by the police. You feel very strange. Later that night, a group of men heavily armed with rifles, machine guns, and swords break into the prison. Who would they be? Are they terrorists looking for you, or who are they?
Despite that, you decide to escape. In fact, there's a dead police officer by the door with a handgun, so what's your choice?
