“Now I will teach you why the Elvin have such a fearsome reputation,” the creature declares. She drops back, using her skewer-like swords to cover herself.

You feel a blood-lust upon you. You hurry forward, quickly, but she glides back, until she is above the middle of the river. You stagger and stumble below your depth before you realise. The Elvin cackles. “Good of you to entertain us tonight!” she cries.

She narrows her thin eyes for a strong blow.
