You approach slyly and wait until you're close enough to surprise him to make your presence known.

"Hello there," you say casually. The cloaked man jumps a bit and turns around. He seems nervous enough to reach for a weapon. You hold your hands up in a gesture of surrender.

"Calm down. If I wanted to kill you, I wouldn't have warned you."

He takes a few breaths and calms down. "Right, right. Well, don't try anything funny," he says, his eyes darting to the door. Obviously, he must be referring to the two guards most likely behind it. "What do you want?" he says as he lights up a lantern to illuminate the backstreets.

"Simple. I'm looking for what you've just brought back. I'm very interested in it," you say coyly as you approach and sit casually on his counter.

He looks at you and then back to where he stowed away the map. He pulls it out slowly, keeping his eyes. It's a scroll-case visibly locked and very well engraved. "You mean this? This is expensive. I'm not sure you can afford this."

"Maybe," you continue in your coy tone. "But I am a woman of many talents. I'm sure we can achieve some kind of...understanding," you say seductively.

He looks at you. "Just what are you willing to do exactly?" he asks suspiciously, his curiosity aroused, among other things.

You grin in satisfaction. You don't mind getting a little dirty to get that map. "What do you want?" you ask with a sensual tone.

He says...

D&D: FHR: The cloaked merchant: "I want you to do something for me."

D&D: FHR: The cloaked merchant : "Let's see how far you are willing to go...."
