You quickly hide behind a large tree, trying to make yourself small against the rough bark, which you can feel scratching you through your thin clothes. Soon enough, the masked man runs past you. He keeps running ahead and doesn't seem to notice you behind him.

As soon as he disappears your view, you have to make a decision.

• Stay put and hold your breath.
• Sneak around the tree and then run for it when he's out of sight.
