Piggy's Day/Move over to the ladders

While still holding onto the rocky surface with all your strength, you outstretch one arm and grab hold of the cold metal railing of the ladders. Success! You're now on the ladders, and you climb down to the bottom of the crevasse in no time.
Piggy: "Now, let's see what this chest is about."
The chest is locked. The lock looks to be rusted through, but the actual mechanism is too secure to be opened by force. You need to get the chest out of there as it is.
Piggy: "I'm not going to transport anything anywhere until I know I got the good stuff!"
You grab the chest, and try shaking it to see what's in it. You hear that wonderful rattle of precious items inside.
Piggy: "Huehuehuee! I've hit the jackpot! But now, how am I going to get this chest up to the surface?"
You're standing at the bottom of a crevasse in a cave at the bottom of the sea, and you feel like an astronaut stranded on a forgotten asteroid. You have no phone, and even if you did, you doubt that the signal would be of a very good standard.
Piggy: "Right, well let's try things."
