Piggy's Day/An underwater cave

You sink. The highly dense fat that your body mostly consists of pulls you down at a rate that yu can't control. You think to yourself:
Piggy: "Oh well, this went awfully wrong. Who would've thought?"
At only about twenty meters, your ears begin to hurt. Not only because of the water pressure, but you begin hearing whale calls, and distant underwater howls of perhaps ancient creatures. The light around you dims, and black envelopes you all around. You are terrified, as if trapped in a space capsule heading towards a black hole. And yet, hope can be found: as you approach the sea floor, you see an underwater cave.
Piggy: "I haven't got much oxygen left. Let's just hope that I don't pass out before making it over."
You don't. At the mouth of the cave, you can see an air pocket a few meters above. Grasping onto the cliffsides, you pull yourself up and inhale.
Piggy: "Right, well this is a total disaster. There's no way I'm swimming back up from here. At least unless I loose three-hundread pounds or so."
You inspect your surroundings. This seems to be a rather difficult task, as there is barely any visible light at all.
