The Iron Throne. A chair forged from dragonfire by Aegon the Conqueror. The fires melded together the swords of his conquered foes, cementing him as the one and only King of Westeros.
Many Targaryens have sat in that throne since then. Maegor the Cruel, Baelor the Blessed, Daeron the Good, and many more. King Aerys, also known as the Mad King, was the last Targaryen king to sit the throne, stabbed in the back by his own kingsguard.
After his rebellion, Robert Baratheon took the throne. While some may call him a good man, he was not a good king, and the kingdom he left behind was shattered and at war. Five Kings vied for the throne. Renly of House Baratheon, Robb of House Stark, Joffrey of House Baratheon, Stannis of House Baratheon, and Balon of House Greyjoy.
Men have raged war for that iron chair for years. Thousands have died so they can sit their ass in that chair. However, what if after the War of the Five Kings, a woman sat the throne.
A woman has never sat the throne, at least not for long. Maybe it was time one did. Maybe she would be able to fix the broken kingdom that is Westeros. Maybe she would just tear it further apart. Maybe she would get exact revenge on her enemies. Or maybe she would just fuck as many people as she could. She's the Queen, after all. She can do whatever she wants!
