First of all, to be fair, Platypus does have to deal with a lot of morons. He isn't simply another author but also an admin. Recently, some idiot wiped out a whole section of Adult Stories page. That is the kind of paste-eating stupidity he's had to deal with.

Second of all, you can give some people a chance but most just aren't going to learn. Not without actually paying attention in school and remembering that this isn't just a text to one of their equally uneducated friends. A lot of people just aren't meant to write, just like not everyone can be an astronaut.

Third of all and finally, inclusivity is all well and good but not when it calls for an author to tolerate unintelligible trash being added to their stories. Anyone can make their own story if they want to write a mess, but existing stories have rules set by the original author. Disrespecting those rules, disrespecting the story, is the same as disrespecting the author themselves. Like graffiti on your newly painted garage. --BakaG 09:39, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
