When the others get you on your feet you walk over to him holding your arm and tell him that it wasn't his fault. It calms his nerves slightly, he and the other guys you were hanging out with help you to the hospital. Luckily it wasn't a bad break and you'll only be in a cast for a month.

Due to your injury you miss out on the Normandy Invasion, you are sent home to rest and heal, while at home you hear off the reports on the war and how they are doing on the front. By the time you're back in action they have already captured France and are pushing into Germany, you return to the front lines but are later gunned down.
