Alice squints at you. There is an awkward pause.

"Max, that's kind of a huge confession. I don't really know what to say..."

You see Baxter approaching the table from your right side. So does Alice.

"Hmm. I think we will have to talk about this later, Max" She says.

"Talk about what?" Baxter says intrusively as he sits down next to Alice.

You stumble to form words. Baxter shows moderate concern.

"Max was just telling me he could sneak a baby Rad-turtle out of breeding for me in exchange for some advice about a girl he likes"

Baxter appears slightly less concerned. "You don't need a Rad-turtle Babe" He says winking at another boy who has just sat down "You have better things to do."

Baxter forces a kiss onto Alice's lips that makes her look slightly uncomfortable.

"I know I don't know a lot about them, Bax... but they seem sort of cute and friendly. I don't see the harm in talking about it."

"Do whatever you want Alice." Baxter says annoyed. "But I better not find Rad-turtle slime on any of my things."

"I know Bax, I know." Alice says obediently. Baxter turns away and engages himself in conversation with some of his cronies. They proceed to laugh obnoxiously.

You look back at Alice.

"I'll see what I can do about the Rad-Turtle"
