Jack looks back at you with an empty, teary-eyed stare. You leave.

You head to lunch, where things are going unusually well for you. You are invited to a party where you make some new friends, and you even work up the nerve to talk to Alice.

The next day Jack does not show up for roll call, and he is later found dead in his room. It appears to be a suicide. You feel slightly guilty, but shake it off after a few days. You go on several dates with Alice but she doesn't seem to like you, and she breaks up with you.

You decide to make a move on Adrienne again, and this time around she senses a new level of confidence in you. You have a healthy relationship with both of you being equally rebellious to the rules of the vault, and you have a steamy sex life. Much more-so than before because this time each of you take what you want from one another. You talk more and more about leaving the vault, and exploring the wasteland together. You plan a perfect escape.

Just before the big day you find another note under your door. It has the same handwriting as before.

"I can't believe I trusted you. How can you live with yourself knowing it's your fault? Goodbye Max."

You find out the contents of Jacks suicide note have been released. In it, Jack expresses his guilt for stealing Adrienne from you, and the emptiness he feels without her.

Most of the vault feels somewhat sorry for you, not knowing that you pushed him over the edge, but Adrienne figured out you had spoken to him before he took his life.

The next day she escaped from the vault alone. Everything inside you told you to chase after her and apologize, but you knew she would never understand. Nobody understands.

A day later, they will find you dead in your room with a very similar suicide note, filled with guild. Adrienne will never find out of your death, and she will never mourn.
