The two of you set off down the path you came in on. Your weapons are sheathed, as you do not expect any trouble this close to the wall. Before long, you can see the massive walls of Olveria. The white stone walls are at least 30 feet high and 6 feet deep. You see a few smoke trails over the wall, probably from the hearths of an inn or tavern. Malik looks forward as he speaks...

"Why do you battle the way you do, Lara?", he asks. "Would it not be simpler to slice all of your enemies to pieces or rip them all apart with your magics?"

"Defeating an opponent is not always as simple as killing them. You wouldn't toss your gold pieces to the side. So why waste a different resource. Besides, as an enchantress, I need to be proficient at using any strength I can afford myself. I cant wear a suit of armor like you so I don't always choose fatal combat with my enemies."

Malik looks at your skimpy outfit as he continues forward. "But, why not?"

"The metal works like a shield against an arrow, blocking a caster from drawing power from around them. Without magic power, i would just be a girl in a metal box. I have only heard of one caster who could wear armor. She could somehow control the very metal itself, drawing power from the armor itself."
