You enter the history classroom and see that most of the seats already have been taken, which is just typical. Your friends have occupied a table over by the windows and shrug apologetically at the fact that there isn't any room left for you, so you quickly look around and try to find a seat somewhere that hasn't been taken.
One is in the back, next to your classmate Jessica Rodriguez. Part of you would really like to sit there because she's super nice and smells real good. But the two of you haven't really talked that much to one another in these last couple of weeks, and the idea of having to break the ice actually scares you a bit.
The other one is in the front of the classroom, right next to the blackboard. There's no risk of bumping into someone you know over there, but the teacher always picks kids in the front whenever she has questions that need to be answered.
