You haggle for a bit and manage to get a 50$ discount, allowing you to stay here for only 100$ a month, every little bit helps. The owner tells you there's no uniform requirements or whatever, so you can just get out there and get busy. You see several tables waiting while the other two are still taking orders from a bunch of other tables.
You start at the other end of the room than them. The men there are quite tipsy but not as drunk as some. You ask if you can take their orders, they leer at you and ask if you're new. You tell them you just started here and they holler "Finally somethin' good to look at in this dump" The other customers also turn to look at you and you spent some time making introductions before you can take their orders.
There's a deal more groping and fondling than either of the other two waitresses has to endure, but it's mostly harmless enough. Seems like you'll be fine as long as you pay attention and don't give them any too good opportunities. There's a few drunks who try to hug you, but they're easy enough to dodge and you randomly talk them into ordering stuff. They're drunk enough that they end up ordering stuff they probably didn't Really intend to order, but your appearance distracts them enough that you don't hear any complaints.
You get a good few tips from the customers to draw you closer, you don't mind a bit of touching for a couple extra bucks long as they don't look too drunk or dangerous. this way, you might end up with a decent income after all. Offcourse, you didn't talk to the owner about what to do with tips. Looking at the other two waitresses, you're pretty sure he didn't think of it cause they don't really get any tips in the first place.
After working for a few hours, things start to calm down and you've collected 115$ in tips, quite the considerable sum. Most likely, being new will wear off soon enough and the tips will get scarcer soon, but if you can earn even half this much in a days' work it could get quite profitable. 50$ a day would make you roughly 1000$ a month, twice your monthly wages.
