You keep eating the pizza despite the angry Carl glaring at you. Even though you’re scared, you can’t help but stare back at him. It’s by no means a threat; rather, you feel like a deer looking intently at the blinding headlights of an incoming car.

But then you see Carl reach for someone else’s tray. You can’t help but close your eyes. It was all too predictable.

SPLAT! The next thing you hear is a girl screaming, followed by running. Your eyes slightly open. Carl has already taken Megan’s backpack, and the sweet-looking girl is gone.
