What the heck, who cares that the 'lil bugger didn't look? You lost interest, and if Kirsten wants to check the theory once more, she can do it on her own. She has got similar equipment, although differently packaged, so you just let her plot her schemes and look unconcerned.
The rest of the cab drive proceeds without noticeable events (maybe with the exception that the cab doesn't hit a truck and transforms into a gigantic fireball).
