Walk over to check the spot by the sun umbrella

When you reach the sun umbrella, you see a bottle of water and a book by the blanket. There's also a sausage-shaped massage pillow left on the blanket. Somebody must have been here quite recently.
Even further along the beach, you see a figure carrying a tray. One of those obnoxious salesmen, no doubt.
Do you:
- Call out to see if anybody is around
- Check out the book by the blanket
- Ignore the spot by the sun umbrella and instead swim out into the ocean
- Continue walking until you pass by the hawker
- Return to the volleyball game
