You walk home thinking about what is going on in the house and how you should be getting that starting spot now.
You arrive at home and your dad greets you at the door, "Hey kiddo did you bring Miranda to her friend's house?" he asks.
Your face turns away a little and you just say "yes".
You go into your room after the encounter with your dad and play on your computer for a time and a few hours later you get a text message from Chad
