As you walk around you see a Pidgey. You scan it with your Pokedex.
You think it will be a strong Pokemon when fully evolved.
You say to yourself "I want to catch this Pokemon."
But then you remember that flying types are super effective on grass types like your Bulbasaur.
And then you remember your Bulbasaur never battled.
You think about if your Bulbasaur should battle the Pidgey and possibly catch it.
