Pokemon: Turn the alarm off and get up

BEEP BEEP BEE...
You sigh heavily as you sit up and turn the alarm off. Suddenly it hits you, today is the day you receive your first Pokémon from Professor Oak! You've been waiting for this day for months, ever since your mother caved and finally signed your trainer's license application. And to think, you thought about going back to sleep...
You spring out of bed and begin getting dressed, Then you go into the bathroom to freshen up, and look at yourself in the mirror. You have blond hair that curls on the bottom and green eyes. You are a girl the age of 12. You are technically allowed to get a trainer license at ten but you mom and dad wouldn't budge, until this year, that is. it's almost too good to be true! This time tomorrow you'll be a trainer.
"So, you really are leaving, aren't you?" your mom asked at the breakfast table. Your dad is away in the business trip, you've already said goodbye to him. You stop eating to respond, "Mom , i know martial arts, pus I'll have Pokemon to defend me. I'll be fine! She says, "I know. It's what you feel is right for you. I won't stand in your way. Just be sure to call or visit every now and then, won't you?"
Within five minutes, you're out the door and racing off towards Prof. Oak's laboratory. His full name is Gary oak. He took over recently when his grandfather, Samuel oak retired. So he's only in his early twenties, but so far he's done a great job as professor.Pallet Town has grown considerably over the past years, but your house still isn't very far. You see Prof. Oak's Pokémon preserve well before you actually see his lab, but soon you're at his front door and knocking loudly.
A minute later, one of Oak's assistants greets you and welcomes you in. "The Professor is just through there," he says, pointing to a room off of the main entrance. You stop to catch your breath before calmly walking into Oak's room.
There are two boys and a girl talking to the professor, who is sitting at a table. You know Josh, You know them all of course, this being a small town. Josh, Finn, or Fini and Jasmine. "So Josh, the prof says to the boy with brown hair and blue eyes. "Take good care of your Charmander. Jasmine take good care of your Squirtle. And back take good care of your Bulbasaur....."
He notices you. "Oh, Starla (you flinch hearing your full name, so used to being addressed as Star) I thought you weren't going to show up. you are 15 minutes late, so we were forced to go on without you. After a minute of talking to him about it, you find out that there was a miscommunication. you were suppose to show up at 8:00, not 8:15. You start to loose hope. You KNEW it was too good to be true.... "Not to fret, I have backup starter. As he sends out the creature in the poke ball, your heart is released of the giant bolder. That was close. The three kids look more stunned than you, who know that prof sometimes keep backup starters! So your not surprised when a yellow mouse comes out. A Pichu But you are surprised when you see that it's cheeks and ears are blue, unlike most Pichu. "It's electricity is blue too, says he Prof." The three kids are looking at it with interest, possibly jealousy, despite the fact that most Pichu aren't in good shape compared to those other starters.
