Pokemon: Bring out your new Squirtle right now

"OK Squirtle, come out now!" You shout as you throw the pokeball, releasing the pokemon inside. You heart sinks when instead of a squirtle, out comes a rattata. Your first thought is that the professor pulled a fast one on you.. but it has to be a mistake... right? The rattata is looking up at you expectantly.
Do you:
- Pokemon: Rush back to Oak for an explanation
- Pokemon: Keep the rattata, maybe it's for the best
- Pokemon: Return the pokemon and look around the lab
