You finish your sandwich, make yourself comfortable, then close your eyes. You slowly drift off to sleep, only to be awaken by the slamming of your front door. You jump to your feet and peek around the corner into the main entrance. A heavily breathing man is sitting on the floor with his back to the door. Him, as well as the area around him, are both drenched in water. You notice immediately that his leg is bleeding quite a bit. He is hanging his head and does not appear to notice you.

You decide to stare into space, and fall into a daze. Suddenly you hear your front door slam and you jump to your feet. You peek around the corner into the main entrance. A heavily breathing man is sitting on the floor with his back to the door. Him, as well as the area around him, are both drenched in water. You notice immediately that his leg is bleeding quite a bit. He is hanging his head and does not appear to notice you.

You peek around the corner into the main entrance. A heavily breathing man is sitting on the floor with his back to the door. Him, as well as the area around him, are both drenched in water. You notice immediately that his leg is bleeding quite a bit. He is hanging his head and does not appear to notice you.

You finish your sandwich, get up from the recliner, and walk over to the window. Lightning flashes in the sky, as well as in the distant background, briefly lighting up the world outside. Movement further down the street catches your eye. It looks like it might be a person, and you can tell from their limp that they had once been injured some point in time, or quite recently even. It is too difficult to make out their expression from where you are standing.
