"Alright" you say, "I'll do it"

The Boss just smiles and says: "I'm glad that we've come to an understanding. Now leave. You start the mission tomorrow." As you were leaving the room, one of the Wartortles gives you a piece of paper and tells you to read this outside.

You get out of the Boss' mansion. You walk to the street and look around. You look at the paper and it reads:

"You'll need a bit of food and a weapon. Show them this paper and you will get the things for free." There's some addresses written underneath. Where first?

"Hey man, the Boss wants to see ya"

You lift your head from the playing cards and look at the Wartortle who just said that. You tell the other players that you'll be right back, lay your card on the table and follow him silently.

Being a Squirtle in "The Squirtle Squad" isn't what it used to be. You remember when the Squad only had 5 members, including yourself. You were only part time crooks. That is, until the day Jonny, the leader of the group, left with that trainer. He was gone for nearly 2 years, and you and the 3 other Squirtles just kept stealing random things now and then. Then Joe came back, but he wasn't a Squirtle anymore, he evolved into a Blastoise. And he wasn't alone either; he brought nearly a small army of Wartortles and Squirtles with him. He took control of the Squad again, but told everyone to call him "Boss" from now on. He then went from petty thievery to taking possession of territories. He started gang wars against two other major pokemon gangs; The "Infernos", which was a large group of random fire pokemons, and "The Greenies", which was a random group of grass and bug type pokemons. Strangely, one would think that a water type gang would have random water pokemons, but the Boss only wants Squirtles and Wartortles. The Boss kept doing wars with those two gangs, and even thought the fire gang should be easy to beat for water pokemons, they were putting up a good fight. In fact, every gang was powerful. So powerful, in fact, that every single human who used to live in the area had to move because the fighting became so severe. The Squad lived in the old abandoned town, while the two other gangs lived more in the south east and south west.

You come up to the building where the Boss lives. It's this big old mansion on the top of a hill. The Wartortle guiding you opens the main gates and leads you into the house, where you notice other Wartortles here and there, doing their guarding duties. When you think about it, it's obvious why the Boss summoned you: a few days ago the Squad did a major attack on the Greenies. There was a small outpost/town, and the attacking squirtles, even thought they had the disadvantage, quickly wiped it out. However, the Boss, who really didn't like the Greenies, ordered the troops to leave no survivors from the attack. While the attack took place, you went into a house with the intention of killing whoever was in there. You saw, to your surprise, a Treeko hiding alone under a table, frightened and shaking. You just couldn't end his life, he was just kids, so you told him to sneak out of the back door and to run away. Unfortunately for you, the troops noticed that you let him escape, and reported the Boss, who wasn't very happy. That must be why he wants to see you now.

You come up to the Boss' room, and the Wartortle knocks on the door. You hear a tired, yet fierce voice say:

"Come in."

You look at the Boss and tell him:

"Listen, I-I can't. It's impossible. If you want to do something like that, you should sent a few Wartortles, not just me."

"That's your final answer, then?" he asks.

"I'm afraid so..." you answer. Another silence, and then the Boss says:

"...only problem is that now, I can't be sure if you're a traitor or not, and I hate doubts, so..."

You see him give a quick nod.

Suddenly, a rope binds your neck and starts chocking you. You try to pull the rope away from your throat, but the Wartortle chocking you with it is pulling very tightly. After a minute of agitation, you run out of air and you collapse on the floor, dead.

You open the door, step in, and the Wartortle closes the door behind you. The room is long, and dimly lighted by the sun behind slightly ripped curtains. You quickly notice 4 other Wartortles in the same room, and the Boss, a big Blastoise, siting behind a desk. He points to the chair in front of him, and asks you to sit down. You do as your told. The Boss then leans forwards a bit and tells you:

"I'm not going to beat around the bush, Chuck (That's your name). My men told me that you willingly let a member of the enemy gang escape while you attacked the outpost a few days ago, even thought I ordered no survivors. Explain yourself."

You readjust your sunglasses on your face and say:

"Well, erm, Boss...it's 'cause he was only a kid...and all, and I, um, didn't have the guts to...you know..."

"I see." simply says the Boss. Silence falls for a good ten seconds before he speaks again.

"Now, Chuck, I wanna know if you're still loyal to the Squad. So I decided to send you on a solo mission for us. It's quite simple, really; you will infiltrate the Greenies' territory and kill Vinnie."

Your jaw drops. Vinnie is the leader of the Greenies gang. The Boss is asking you to go into enemy territory alone and kill the leader of a gang! That's suicide! You were just about to express this thought when the Boss adds:

"...of course, you can always refuse the mission. Your choice."

''Being a Squirtle in "The Squirtle Squad" isn't what it used to be. You remember when the Squad only had 5 members, including yourself. You were only part time crooks. That is, until the day Joe, the leader of the group, left with that trainer. He was gone for nearly 2 years, and you and the 3 other Squirtles just kept stealing random things now and then. Then Joe came back, but he wasn't a Squirtle anymore, he evolved into a Blastoise. And he wasn't alone either; he brought nearly a small army of Wartortles and Squirtles with him. He took control of the Squad again, but told everyone to call him "Boss" from now on. He then went from petty thievery to taking possession of territories. He started gang wars against two other major pokemon gangs; The "Infernos", which was a large group of random fire pokemons, and "The Greenies", which was a random group of grass and bug type pokemons. Strangely, one would think that a water type gang would have random water pokemons, but the Boss only wants Squirtles and Wartortles. The Boss kept doing wars with those two gangs, and even thought the fire gang should be easy to beat for water pokemons, they were putting up a good fight. In fact, every gang was powerful. So powerful, in fact, that every single human who used to live in the area had to move because the fighting became so severe. The Squad lived in the old abandoned town, while the two other gangs lived more in the south east and south west.''

There was a small outpost/town, and the attacking squirtles quickly wiped it out. However, the Boss, who really didn't like the Infernos, ordered the troops to leave no survivors from the attack. While the attack took place, you went into a house with the intention of killing whoever was in there. You saw, to your surprise, two Chimchars huddled together, frightened and shaking. You just couldn't end their lives, they were just kids, so you told them to sneak out of the back door and to run away. Unfortunately for you, the troops noticed that you let them escape, and reported the Boss, who wasn't very happy. That must be why he wants to see you now.''
