Amelia gives you another grin, before heading back to the sports field. "See ya!" she calls over her shoulder.

"Oh," you simply say, lounging back. "That's cool."

Rosie gives you a confused gaze. "Eh?"

"I mean, I expected as much," you explain. "No point in fretting over the inevitable."

You note that you probably just threw a damp towel over Rosie's enthusiasm. From what you've seen, she's the type who loves conversation and drama, after all. However, you're taken by surprise as the inu leans in towards you, causing your heart rate to escalate. "What's the matter?" you ask.

"You're pretty cool," she replies casually.

You feel your natural expression falter. "What kind of reaction is that?"

"Dunno," she mumbles, looking keenly into your eyes. "Most of my friends are emotional and easily affected by stuff around them. You seem a lot calmer than that."

You nod slowly, trying to keep eye contact with her. It wasn't that Rosie's gaze was urging you to look away, though; it was that the leaned-in position she had taken in front of you, that gave you a positively stupendous view of her cleavage.

Don't look... you compel yourself with all your might. You don't know what would be more impressive - if she was doing this accidentally or intentionally.

"Are you going to eat those donuts?" you ask in the most regular voice you can manage.

Rosie looks back at her donuts. "Oh yeah. Forgot I'm still hungry!"

She moves away and grabbed her donuts, too busy chowing down on another to notice your sigh of relief.

"Exactly."

She smiles. "Now I see. In all honesty, a lot of the girls here thought you only enrolled in this academy to perv on everybody."

You feel your expression droop a bit. "So that's what they all thought of me...?"

The kitsune simply laughs in response. "Only some of them. And it was more of a lingering afterthought than a legitimate worry."

"That's agreeable, yes," she replies. "You should check-out that book; this library will be closing for maintenance soon."

"Oh, yeah. I remember there being a sign on the front door mentioning that," you realize. "Let's talk while we walk, then."

Kristen nods and follows you downstairs, her tail swaying calmly behind her. As you check-out the book, you note that Kristen has yet to answer whether or not she wants to work on the essay with you. It might take a bit more than discussing your interests to convince her.

"That is true," you say, bringing a hand to the back of your head. "I'm the new human student that transferred here a week ago."

"I know that much," she says, giving you a small pout. "I mean I don't know you."

You tilt your head at her. "Huh?"

She sighs, leaning against the bookshelf. "You don't become friends with people after just figuring out where they came from, do you?"

You shake your head. "I guess not."

"Let's start off simple, then." She walks towards you, being much shorter than you, though seeming to have a confident air about her. "I'm Kristen," she greets, sticking out her hand, which you take. "I'm pursuing English to become a writer. I enjoy literature, film and sushi." She smiles. "Better?"

Easiest place to start is in the foyer of the main building, right? Many students pass through and hang out there, making your chances to run into somebody pretty good.

Unsurprisingly, when you get there, the place is bustling, with many people rushing through the multiple adjacent hallways, while others simply leaned against the walls and sat on the benches, hanging out and chatting it up. To you, the place seems even busier with every passing day, unlike what common sense would otherwise dictate.

Casually looking around, you're caught by surprise as you spot Lucia's vibrant mane of red hair, the kitsune idly leaned against a rather isolated wall. People passing by would sometimes say "hi" or have a couple words with her, but aside from that, she was all alone - an occurrence that, until now, had been unprecedented during your time here. You didn't think you'd be this lucky!

You decide to approach her, the kitsune's ears perking as she catches your gaze. You're about to greet her, though you're surprised as she does so to you first.

"Heya!" she calls to you, giving you an intense gaze. Those bright orange eyes of hers were rather intimidating. "You're the human transfer student, right?"

You blink. Why is she interested in that?

"I am." you reply simply.

"Oooh, sweet!", she chirps, hopping away from the wall she had been leaning on. "I have lots of things I wanted to ask you!"

The Secret Kemonomimi Academy Route Plan

For those of you observant or lucky enough to click on the word "elsewhere" in that previous option (or you just checked the categories :P), welcome to my secret planning page, where I'll be roughly outlining how each character route in Kemonomimi Academy will unfold. You may ask: "why bother making this page when you can just make this type of document in private?". Well, I figured it'd be nice to share the planning process with you, the audience, through this neat little easter egg. :3

Now, without further ado...here's the plan.

*During the first interaction with a given character, there will be three possible affinity outcomes, which we'll call A, B, and C for convenience. Respectively, these routes outline whether the character has a strong, decent, or weak first opinion of you.
*The second interaction will have three outcomes as well, which we'll name by adding the numbers 1, 2 and 3 beside the letters that pertain to the first interaction. Again, respectively, these numbers represent a strong, decent, or weak opinion of you.
*The third interaction will simply be a choice to go through with or deny the result caused by your previous two interactions.
*The results, in order, are:
**A1 (Strong + Strong): Passionate sex/lasting relationship
**A2 (Strong + Decent): Friends with benefits
**A3 (Strong + Weak): Friendship/distrust
**B1 (Decent + Strong): Experimental sex (i.e. where the kinks go)
**B2 (Decent + Decent): Small romantic encounter/rejection
**B3 (Decent + Weak): She ignores you
**C1 (Weak + Strong): Forgiveness/friendship
**C2 (Weak + Decent): Acquaintances
**C3 (Weak + Weak): Deep dislike/rape

Naturally, these results aren't concrete, and will switch around a bit depending on the character. I just decided to outline my options so I wouldn't get carried away later on in writing this. I honestly wish I could do more for this story (harem route, anyone?), but it would take a lot more work to intertwine the affinities, so I'll stick with the straight forward routes for now.

Kristen gives you a frisky smile, holding out her hand palm-down, showing you as her nails suddenly extend half an inch, growing much sharper in the process. "Never underestimate a cat's claws," she tells you with a smirk, allowing her nails to shrink back to a normal size.

You gulp. Genes are a scary thing.

She holds out the hand she just used in her demonstration for a shake. "I'm Kristen."

You smile, holding your hand out halfway. "Promise you won't stab my hand?"

"No promises," she purrs.

You chuckle, taking her hand anyways. "Nice to meet you."

She giggles in response. "Likewise. And don't worry...I only claw people whom I dislike."

Hey, SkylaTruffles here, the author of Kemonomimi Academy (hey, that's what you're reading right now!). Just in case you didn't notice the pathetic page count upon navigating here from the Adult Stories page, let me hammer it harder into your head: this story is nowhere near completion. In fact, it's in such early stages that I wouldn't even say this is worth reading yet. Progress will proceed at a moderate-to-slow rate, and I predict that it will take a while before I actually start to write anything erotic. I'll also remind everyone that this is a Private story, meaning that no one else is allowed to edit it (except for the staff here, of course, should they find my content to be offensive). However, if you insist on wanting to offer a role in this story's development, I suppose you can message me with ideas, which I may or may not take into consideration when writing. Due to your outstanding marks and self-professed love for animals, you've miraculously been accepted as the first human student at Kemonomimi Academy! Here, you'll be studying to become a veterinarian alongside those who know the trade best: animals themselves! Well, technically they're human/animal hybrids, but the similarities are closer than you think!

So far, you've spent a week at this prestigious academy, and you've enjoyed yourself quite a lot. The place is beautiful, all of your lectures have been engrossing, and your dorm is arguably comfier than your room back at home.

But here's the kicker...due to a predominant adoption of kemonomimi traits in the female gender, a staggering 95% of all the students at this school are girls...and almost all of them are incredibly cute and sexy!

Though you didn't want to be regarded as a desperate pervert at this school, seeing as you're new and a human, it was still really tough to avoid copping glances at all the cute animal girls here...and after only a week, you've set your sights on four girls in particular.

Kristen, the cat-girl, or nekomimi. She's a clear bookworm by nature, always sitting at the front during your lectures (allowing you to frequently gaze at her without her knowing), and soaking up information like a sponge. She seems quite reserved, though you can tell by the constant gleam in her emerald-coloured eyes that she has a playful side. She has a delicate figure, with curves that don't disappoint, along with a long, black cat tail and pointy ears that compliment her straight, black hair.

Rosie, the dog-girl, or inumimi. The apathetic chatterbox of the four; you often notice her loafing off in the cafeteria or at the back of your lectures. She acts rather defiant to those she doesn't know or care for, though she shows kindness and even obedience to those she respects. She's the shortest of the four, yet in comparison, she has the largest breasts, drawing a clandestine stare from you whenever she passes. She has shoulder-length, mousey brown hair, which perfectly matches her floppy ears and bushy tail.

Amelia, the bunny-girl, or usagimimi. The enthusiastic, sporty type, almost never seen outside of lectures without some kind of ball. She's quite cheerful to her teammates and friends, though rather bashful in one-on-one conversation. You occasionally take the time to watch her play...though part of this is due to the near unfathomably perfect way her gym shorts wrap around her ample rump, made even better by the fluffy, white tail sticking out from the top. Her droopy white bunny ears complete the image, set atop chocolate brown hair frequently tied in a ponytail.

Lucia, the fox-girl, or kitsunemimi. Graceful, generous, and an idol to pretty much everyone in the school. Her popularity makes her a tough target, though she seems to be interested in you, primarily due to you being a human. Perhaps you can interest her in more than just your species! She has a tall, slender figure, with thighs that could force even the most strong-willed of men to take a second glance at. She has flowing, scarlet hair, with pointy ears and a long, extremely furry tail.

Now comes week two. Your lectures are all finished, and you think you're ready to approach one of these women. The only problem now is...where should you go to find them?

"Thanks!" she chirps, taking the bottle and gulping down the water within it without a single thought on whether you had used it before (which you had). She must really be parched.

After a surprisingly long while of her drinking, she finishes with a refreshed "ah", handing the bottle back to you. She nearly emptied the damn thing.

You feel your stomach turn over as Amelia looks from her seat up to you. Err...maybe this wasn't such a great idea. Upon a second glance, you realize that she's way out of your league...and, hell, with a body like her's, she probably already has a boyfriend. There's no way you can do this...

You look away and catch the glance of a nearby male student, waving to him instead. "What's up, dude?" you call to him. He seems rather confused, but Amelia takes the bait, looking away and mopping her brow with a towel.

Thank god... you think to yourself, walking towards the guy you just waved to in order to give some half-assed excuse as to why you called to him. Who knows what would've happened if you actually went through with that...

As you walk across the pavement, you trip over a large strand of your own cowardice, falling over and breaking your nose as you land face-first on the cold, hard ground. Nobody takes a second glance at you, as they all think that's where a pathetic, cowardly human like you belongs: the ground.

You quickly accept your oneness with the ground, realizing that you have no other purpose in life other than to be the ground. Several months pass, during which you're declared "missing" from the school. But you're still there, laying on the ground, miraculously still alive.

One day, you feel somebody step on your head. You look up, realizing it's Amelia. She looks back at you confusedly, thinking just for a moment that something was amiss. Though, she quickly shakes her head, going back to what she was doing. After all, there was nothing weird about stepping on the ground.

You decide to check out the sports field, following the hunch that a certain girl will be there. The neko's ears twitch slightly on her head, her bright green eyes almost unnerving you. "That's not a bad idea..." she replies. "I don't know you, though."

"That is true," you say, bringing a hand to the back of your head. "I'm the new human student that transferred here a week ago."

"I know that much," she says, giving you a small pout. "I mean I don't know you."

You tilt your head at her. "Huh?"

You shrug, offering Kristen the book. "You can have it. I'll find another copy at a different library."

She blinks at you, looking away. "Oh, that's fine...you got to it first, after all."

"Yeah, but I bumped into you."

"And I'm terribly wounded by that," she tells you, the deadpan sarcasm hitting you in the gut. She won't be easy to convince.

"Fine. I'll keep it," you tell her, starting to walk away, before purposefully dropping the book behind you. So much for being delicate with it.

"Oh, no!" you call out to Kristen, slowly yet exaggeratedly walking away. "I forgot my book! Looks like someone else will have to take it instead!"

You smirk at her, before noticing the librarian behind her, staring directly at you, giving you the stare of death - a stare mastered to replace the common-found method of simply telling a kid to shut up, making it a lot more effective as a result.

Kristen notices this too, glancing over her shoulder at the librarian before looking back at you, suddenly scoffing and holding her mouth to stop any laughter. "If you could see how pale your face went..." she says, her own face going slightly red.

You pick up the book from the ground and slide it into the laughter-blighted neko's arms. "Ah, shut up..." you mumble, though still grinning.

She looks at the book in her arms, sighing softly. "I suppose I can take this if you insist," she exaggerates, stretching out her hand to shake. "I'm Kristen."

You take her hand, smiling. "It's a pleasure."

You decide to ask her...

You decide to go to the school library, with several small reasons behind your choice. The library is a fantastically quiet area, with bookcases built stories high placed along every wall to block out any outside noise. This would allow you to relax, study, or have a conversation without disruption. What's more is that you actually need to check out a book from here - one that's contents are almost certain to be a key part of your next Philosophy essay.

But naturally, more than anything you're hoping to run into Kristen here. You know she shares Philosophy with you, meaning that she'll probably come here sometime sooner or later in order to pick up the book you both need.

You follow the numbered guides, heading to the second floor where the book you need is stocked. You soon find where the book is, not so stunned when you see only one remaining copy, worn and tattered on the forlorn shelf it rested on. You quietly curse your Philosophy professor...this is what happens when you demand all of your students to have hard copies of a single book!

You pluck the aged book off of the shelf, thinking it'll be fine as long as you're delicate with it. You turn around, before accidentally bumping into a figure behind you, the two of you stumbling back a bit.

"Oh, sorry!" you say, before noticing that the person behind you is actually Kristen, her long cat tail flicking back and forth nervously as she gazes into your eyes. You give yourself a mental facepalm as you realize that picking the last book off of the shelf left Kristen with absolutely nothing. Good job, you.

"You need this book too, right?" you ask her, holding out the last copy.

She nods softly, straightening herself a bit, still staying silent for now.

You pull out a chair, sitting in front of Rosie. As you've already demonstrated your mad stealth game, this naturally proceeds without alerting her at all.

Reaching into your bag, you pull out your Biology textbook, quietly perusing the contents, occasionally looking up at the still sleeping girl in front of you. About an hour later, Rosie finally wakes up.

She rubs the sleep out of her eyes, blinking as she notices you sitting right there. "When did you get here...?"

You look up, shutting your textbook. "Over an hour ago," you say, smirking. "How was the cat nap? Or, rather, dog nap."

"Harty har," she replies sarcastically, not bothering to reply to the question. "How did you manage to sneak up on me?"

You shrug, sliding your textbook back into your bag. "I'm a generally quiet person, I suppose."

She smiles slightly at you. "Hm. Not bad...for a human, at least."

You chuckle. "I suppose the 'dog nap' joke makes that comment fair game, huh?"

"I like your way of thinking," she says with a grin, sticking out her hand. "Name's Rosie, nice to meet ya'!"

You gladly shake her hand. "Likewise."

She pulls away after the shake, giving you a curious gaze. "Why'd you decide to sit here, anyways?"
