You decide to follow the signs to the Welcome Center. Judging by the distance it appears you will have to walk, the signs are leading you to the opposite side of campus, which is up over the hill. You keep walking along the sidewalk, but you're feeling pretty tired.

About halfway there, a car pulls up beside you. A cute girl with sparkling brown eyes, a pretty complexion and long brown hair sticks her head out the window and says, "Excuse me. I'm sorry, but, um, do you know where Harding Hall is?"

Of course, you have no idea where it is ... and you're a liitle surprised such a cute girl would stop to ask you directions. Then you remember your new appearance and realize that everything is going to be different from now on. A wave of excitement washes over you. But you're not exactly sure how you should act in this situation.

The sudden stillness wakes you up from a crazy dream. Something about getting a fresh start in college.

Anyway, the bus ride is over. You've finally arrived. You look out the window and see some low clouds, a few nondescript buildings and a whole lot of trees. On the hillside you see a group of large buildings that you recognize from pictures. They're just a few of the many dormitories at State University. There are going to be alot of new things to learn. A lot of people to meet. Many more people than the town you've come from. You grin to yourself and get your stuff together. You've been working hard for the last three years to get here. Your parents would have been proud.

You walk off the bus and the bus driver gives you a weird look, like he's not sure why you were on his bus. You head into the bus station's bathroom to clean up a bit and are shocked to see yourself in the mirror. You are exactly what the Voice said you'd be! Holy shit! You look awesome! Damn, look at yourself!

You can hardly think straight. What the hell are you supposed to do? For lack of anything better to do at the moment, you decide to walk up the hill toward the University. Time to live the life!

You head up the hill, lugging a large duffle on your shoulder. The campus is still a few blocks away, but already you see there are some cute girls here. They're alot different than the girls in high school, that's for sure. A few of them disappear into a cafe. You're tempted to follow them in and try to strike up a conversation.

But up ahead you hear the bell tower on campus ringing and it reminds you that you need to get the keys to your dorm room and get settled in. Classes start in the morning. There'll be plenty of time for girls.

Finally, you get to the campus and get a good look at what will be your home for the better part of the next four years: State University. It's not a bad looking place. Pretty typical university campus setting.

You spot a large banner ahead that reads: "New Students: Welcome Center Straight Ahead"
