You are about to move away from the window when you trip on a rock, one of the trio looks up directly at you.
He tells the others about you and they come out of the basement and tell you that if you win against all of them together they will give you the pokemon but if you lose, you must leave and not tell anybody about this.
They let you use 3 pokemon while they each use 1.
The first of the trio sends out Feraligatr, you send out bulbasaur for the type advantage.
The Feraligatr used hydro cannon but narrowly missed, what do you use?

Bulbasaur used solar beam but missed!!
Feraligatr used a mix of headbutt and hydro cannon and was just about to hit Bulbasaur when Bulbasaur used a powerful solarbeam!!
The hit instantly KO'd Feraligatr.
Just then Bulbasaur started to glow, Bulbasaur evolved into Ivysaur!!
"So you beat 1 of us, you still have 2 more to go."
Next the second person sent out Typlosion.
You sent out Squirtle to have the type advantage.

The Typlosion used blast burn, barely dodged by squirtle who got burned.
Squirtle used water gun slamming into Typlosion's flame, making it smaller.
As Typlosion was getting more fire in its mouth for another blast burn when Sqirtle used a water gun using a lot of energy and slammed into Typlosion's flame, KOing him.
"You may have made it far, but you still haven't beaten the strongest of them all."
Next Meganium was sent out, so you sent out Charmander.

Meganium used frenzy plant and hit the areas around Charmander, trapping it.
Charmander used ember and burnt itself out, then used it again on Meganium.
Meganuim used synthesis and healed itself back fully.
Charmander used ember twice again but this time both on Meganium.
Meganium used leaf storm and hit Charmander, rendering him weak.
Charmander got in another ember before Meganium KO'd him.
You send out Ivysaur so at least you would be even with type advantages with it.

Ivysaur quickly used leaf storm and almost KO'd it, but Meganium used leaf storm and KO'd Ivysaur. You are down to your last pokemon but even if it is not very effective you still have to use it, Sqirtle.

Sqirtle used takedown but missed.
Meganuim used frenzy plant and sqirtle looked like it was going into a withdraw position but came out with a rapid spin, spun the frenzy plant away and smashed Meganium, KOing it.
Then Squirtle started glowing, it evolved into Wartortle!!
"So you are tougher than you look, well it looks like we have to hold up our end of the bargain and give you these" 1 of them said handing over the little pokemon."It looks like we've gotta go" then they blasted off.
Just then professor oak came by.
"Hello, have you seen any missing pokemon?" he asked.
You told him what had happened and afterwards he told you that he had heard about the pokemon robbery and came looking.
"So now i'll take the pokemon back to the lab to get them back to their proper region, but, by the way, since you did save them, it would only be normal if took one with you"
So which one shall it be?

Sqirtle used takedown but missed.
Meganuim used frenzy plant and sqirtle looked like it was going into a withdraw position but came out with a rapid spin, spun the frenzy plant away and smashed Meganium, KOing it.

You sneak past the fence, up the ladder then put on the jet-pack and follow the trio.
You check your pokemon and find that in there pokeballs they healed themselfs, quite the relief.
When you see the trio land they sneak into the basement of a wrecked building, you find a window facing the basement to spy on them.
You see them send out 3 pokemon: Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile, the usual pokemon professor elm will give you in a close region.
One of the trio takes out a hot blade and carves a symbol into Chikorita's leaf, Cyndaquil's forehead and Totodile's spike.
They then sent out 3 more pokemon: Feraligatr, Typhlosion and Meganium. They force the little pokemon to battle the evolved pokemon, but of course the smaller ones always lost.
After about 2 battles you couldn't watch anymore, you stop watching with two ways, which one?

Outside the Pokemon Center, we started looking for a cheep place to eat. We would start earning money after we beat the first gym leader, but that wasn't until Eterna City. We would have to conserve until then.

After we ate, we let Piplup and Turtwig out. It was fun to watch them chase each other in circles around the guest room of the Pokemon Center. Occasionally we had to tell them to calm down before they broke something, but for the most part we talked about the road ahead.

"Obviously the next city is Jublife."

"Of course, but where after that? Canalcave is to the west and there is a gym there, but I heard that Byron is really though. Maybe we should try somewhere easier?"

"And he's a steel type trainer, and our Pokemon are not very effective and normal against ground types."

"Then how bout we go to Eterna first, then Oreburgh. If we can both of the gym leaders there, we are probably ready for anything Byron can throw at us."

Jasmine agreed. "Yep, we'll go through Eterna first."
