You look down at yourself. You're a little self-conscious of your body, but you're okay with it. Almost without a signal coming from your brain first, your hand reaches up to the top button of your shirt, unfastens it. Michael takes in a breath through his nose that you can hear from all the way across the room, and you undo the second button. Your other hand joins the party, setting to work on unbuttoning the shirt all the way to the waist. Once your shirt falls open you let it hang there, exposing the front of your bra, your tummy, and the waistline of your jeans. And then you realize that you haven't given Michael a look since you began to unbutton. Slowly you raise your head to find him examining you with politeness, yet silence.

"This okay?" you ask.

"More than okay," Michael says, almost as if he's out of breath.

So, without further ado, you pull the shirt off of your body and begin work on the button of your jeans. It's a tough one. You suck in your tummy to give your jeans more room to loosen, and finally pull the button out of the eyelet, then beginning to scoot the jeans off of your hips. Your choice in panties and bra do not match this evening; your panties are plain and baby blue, and your bra is black with red dots. ''Didn't really think I'd be doing this, did I?'' you think.

"Alright," you say, displaying yourself. "Guess we're even."

Michael gives you a good scan up and down, smiles. "Yeah, I guess we are. You're lovely."

"Thank you."

He cocks his eyebrow and seems to ruminate on something. Then his thumb moves to the waistband of his boxers. You notice a shape there. Testing your reactions, his movement is exponential: giving you the idea, playing with the idea, and then enacting the idea of removing his boxers. They fall around his socked ankles, and there he is. Do you...

If you have an idea for a story, you might like to try [[Idea Pitches|pitching your idea to other users]] and seeing how interested people might be in playing your story, what you could do to make playing your story fun, and who might be interested in collaborating with you to write it. The drive out to Michael's house has taken fifteen minutes, because he lives out in the spacious outskirts of town. The snow out here is untouched, and you can't help but admire its simplistic beauty as you sit near the window while Michael heats the water for the hot cocoa. He's quite cute as he fusses around the kitchen. You can't help but remember how he used to goof off with Chris What's-His-Name in chemistry class. Mike's always been a cutie, hasn't he? Oh, what are you saying to yourself? That's that second drink talking. Er... ''thinking.''

Michael stops his fussing for a second and asks you, "Hey Mel, do you want marshmallows?"

For some reason, you think he's just straight-up offering you marshmallows. The hot cocoa has momentarily left your brain. "What, like, just to eat?"

"Um, so, this stain isn't really coming up. You got any of that carpet cleaner?" But you get no response to your clever attempt to change the subject and abort your silly voyeuristic mistake. Instead you look up and Michael is leaning in his doorway, still in his boxers, with his arms crossed. He gives you an inquisitive and playful look.

"Mel, don't change the subject on me," he says with a kind of elated chuckle. "You were watching me change my clothes!" He's quite amused by this.

"Yeah," you say, out of habit, "I'm sorry, I really am. I don't know what... I just... You know, I don't have any excuse."

"Basement, huh?" you say, having a bit of positive suspicion as to his intentions. "Long as it's got carpet and drywall, I'm down."

Michael smiles and nods. "Basement it is, then. Right this way."

He walks past you out of the kitchen and through the living room, taking slow deliberate steps. You notice that the hot chocolate is dangerously close to spilling over the top of the mugs. When you offer to carry one of them, Michael shakes his head and tells you that he's got it under control. And he seems to, too. Taking a left through the living room, Michael leads you to a narrow carpeted stairway heading downwards; looks like your wish for carpet and drywall has been granted. Slow but steady, Michael carries the mugs down the stairs without losing a single drop of cocoa. He even manages to elbow one of the flat dimmer switches on the wall, turning on the lights of a very cozy furnished downstairs living room. Two faux-leather couches arranged in an L around a coffee table, a TV on an oak stand, and plenty of space. Beyond the couches you spot an open door leading to what looks like Michael's bedroom and an adjacent closed door that you assume is the bathroom. It's very comfy down here.

Kneeling very slowly, Michael lowers himself to place your cocoa on the coffee table. Apparently he gets too confident and tries to sip his own cup in the same motion. Losing concentration, Michael tips your cup just enough for a scalding drop to touch his finger. Your cup is saved, but he loses control of his own, and pours most of it down the front of himself.

Michael grunts out a, "God damn it! Shit!"

You can't help but chuckle as you ask, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. I was just really looking forward to that cocoa." Michael spins into action, hurrying into the bathroom to fetch a towel for the carpet. He asks you to stand on the towel to soak up the spilled cocoa, then says, "And now I need some clothes. I'll be right back. I'm gonna change," before slipping into his bedroom without shutting the door.

From where you stand on the towel, you can still see him a little bit, but you don't see anything but his shirt as he tosses it across the room at a hamper. Do you...

==Creating a Story==
If you have an idea for a story, you might like to try [[Idea Pitches|pitching your idea to other users]] and seeing how interested people might be in playing your story, what you could do to make playing your story fun, and who might be interested in collaborating with you to write it. Once you have done that, you can create it by entering your desired name for the Story into the search box and clicking '''Go'''. If the name has not already been taken, click this exact title to start the story. There are three general types of story. The first is the branching-plot story (an example of this is the Choose Your Own Adventure series of gamebooks), which require the reader to make choices but are otherwise like a regular novel. The second type is the role-playing game adventure, which combines the branching-plot novel with simple role-playing rules such as attack points and monster battles. The third type is the trivia quiz, where the player must answer questions as if they were on a game show.

The next to the last line here is the ''status indicator''. The status indicator shown here is the ''basic'' status indicator. Different stories use different status indicators, and some use none at all. Look at the edit screen for the page you're starting from and copy that status indicator to the new page you're adding. Every page should have the category at the bottom. This keeps track of all the pages in the story. You can copy the category line from the previous page to the one you're working on. The category, obviously, is ''never'' 'name of story you're working on'. You type in the actual name of the story.
