You wait for the cop to turn his back. You shove past him, knocking him to the ground. You run by, laughing before noticing the officer getting back on his feet rather quickly. You curse your father for not beating into you better shoving skills, and sprint down the empty street. Holy shit, that cop can really move. You duck to your left hard, and through a clothing store window. Covered in glass, you crawl across the floor quickly, like a snake and hide behind a rack of blue jeans. You hear the cop stop at the window, mumble 'fuck it', and walk off. You stand up and leave before the store employees come to investigate the window you just 'opened'.

Walking down the street, towards the movie set, you notice that there's a particularly large piece of glass sticking out of your upper thigh. You look down to pull it out. Suddenly, you hear a woman's voice. "Oh shit, are you alright?" You look up to the speaker, standing in front of you.

From somewhere close, a woman screams, followed by another, and before you know it, there's a whole crowd of people screaming and shouting at the manic whose holding a gun.

You gently place your weapon on the ground, and put your hands on the back of your head. You let the police grab you and take you in. As you get pulled away, you hear a series of gunshots and shouting. After an awkward ten minutes or so handcuffed in the back of the SWAT van, Swaim comes up to you. He's a tall white guy with short brown hair and police uniform, who kind of looks like he could kill you with his bare hands if we wanted to. He tells you that your two friends were killed when the SWAT stormed the store and they took human shields. You eventually go to trial and plead no contest to the charge of armed robbery and unlawful possession of a weapon. You serve ten years in prison, and leave a free man ten years later...

The police had their guns trained on you the moment you came out the door. Of course they'd kill you quicker than you could bring up your gun.

I'm not going to bullshit you, guy: you're fucked. You and your two buddies are standing in a jewelry store with assault rifles, surrounded by screaming hostages and trigger-happy police officers. For the moment, you're (relatively) safe. You're inside, and the cops can't shoot at you (yet). The hostage situation only started a few moments ago, just as you and your partners were about to make a clean getaway with the money. As you jogged out the door and went for the getaway van, a duo of police officers spotted your combination of ski masks, automatic weapons, and a duffel bag, and quickly deduced you were up to no good. The cops opened fire, killing your driver and forcing the three of you to retreat back into the jewelry store.Just as you considered rushing the cops and making a run for it, another squad car rolled up, followed by another, then a few more, and finally by a SWAT truck. More and more cops keep arriving as your internal monologue repeats 'Oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit!' The hostages are (understandably) freaking the hell out as they cower on the floor.

The phone on the counter starts to ring. You and your three buddies all quickly look at it.

After the huge explosion below, Colonel Asshole radioed in. "Gunship above, watch your god-damned fire! You're hitting our guys!" The gunners shouted at me. "Watch where you're aiming!" After ten seconds of forcing myself to not fire at every movement below, and another ten seconds of seeing if I could aim the guns at the plane itself (I couldn't), I took aim at the targets below again. There was some dude below us looking like he was aiming a video camera or something at the plane. I couldn't tell if he was on our side or not, and frankly I didn't care, because news is for homos."
