"Can I help you with something?"
The girl sits up straight, looks at you, then eyes dart around for a bit, than back to you "Oh! um, I was just...wondering why you were over here. Pretty popular girls don't come over here except to make fun of us."
"Don't worry....Bekah isn't it?" you ask, and the nerdy girl responds by nodding in agreement. "You're fine, I'm just trying to finish this homework now so I can relax by a pool after school"
"Oh gee, that sounds like a lot of fun. I wish I could go" You can tell this girl has been moping in self-pity since the first day of Freshman year.
