Ignoring her neighbor, she smiled brightly at the bartender and said, "Sure. What's your name?"

"Tommy," he smiled back and held out his hand.

"Tessa," she took his hand.

"Glad to meet you Tessa - sure brightens up the place."

She looked down. "Not sure I brighten up anything at the moment."

"Something go wrong? I have to admit, we don't usually get a lot of wedding guests here."

"You could say that," Tessa shrugged. "Things weren't... right."

"They never are. I'm guessing... you're not the one getting married?"

She chuckled. "I'm not wearing the right outfit for that."

"Pity," Tommy winked, "I'm surprised some guy hasn't snapped you up yet."
