You have your hero run off to the nearby ranch.
The sign at the entrance says "Lon Lon Ranch." He walks inside and soon comes across a very pretty brown haired girl in the most unfortunately conservative dress you've ever seen. The hero walks up to her and poses. She looks back at him confused. There's no chance he's going to talk to her, you're going to have to take care of the conversation on his behalf.
You fly out of his shirt. "Hey" you say excitedly.
"Oh my! Hello" she says back.
"We're looking for a horse. Give us one."
The girl giggles. "I can't just give a horse away for free, I'm sorry. But I can certainly sell you one."
Of course! If we complete that dungeon we'll have enough money to buy one!
I'm too impatient for this. I'll have my hero pay for it in a different way.
