"I know a back way" you say, eager to please this girl in the hopes of gaining a friend.
She looks at you sceptically but then shrugs and gestures with her hand. "Lead the way" she says.
You swim to shore with her following you and head for the forest rather than the town, with the intent of skimming the edges of the houses.
You enter the forest and the two of you walk in silence for awhile until you hear a noise in the distance.
