You knock on the door, but no matter how much you plead Father Durham will not allow you to enter, flat out ignoring your plaintive calls.  You could just break down the door, but it wouldn't do any good since the reverend Father seems to have properly solidified his resolve against you, and rape doesn't really count as giving into temptation.

You let him retreat but follow him quietly and at a distance. Father Durham looks to be retreating to his private quarters that adjoin the church. He hurries past the rows of pews and disappears into the vestry, on the opposite side of which is a small corridor which opens into the priest's residence. As he enters, you can hear the door close and, a few seconds later, lock.

You make your way through the vestry and try your luck with the door even though you already know it's locked. And it is. On the other side of the door, you can hear the low murmur of prayer, and it doesn't take a Demon's power of demi-sight to know that Father Durham is kneeling before a cross and clutching a rosary while frantically asking for divine guidance.

You knock on the door, but no matter how much you plead Father Durham will not allow you to enter, flat out ignoring your plaintive calls.
