You rush toward the man with the gun in hopes of taking him by surprise but the distance between you is too great and before you even get half-way to him a loud bang escapes the firearm and you feel something strike you in the gut.
You drop to your knees as a warmth trickles down your stomach. You look down at and find a nice little hole waiting for you. You've been shot!
You raise your view to see the man steadying the gun with both hands and taking aim for what you're sure will be the kill shot.
