You throw back the silk sheet and brocade coverlet, and stand... and fall face down, bringing a ton of medical equipment down on you. the IV bag breaks open, and saline spills all over the floor. Your urine bag detaches and the smell of pee stings your nose. You look down and find your skin leathery and wrinkled, your arms weak as tissue. You are old, very old. You try to remember how you got here - something about a light, a fairy... a fairy? That can't be right. You grasp the chain around your neck and press the button to call for the nurse.
