These are your pants, after they've been on fire. They were originally crafted of deerskin, but are now mostly composed of mismatched burlap patches. They are held in place by a bailing-twine belt and are blackened after being burned. Where they aren't blackened, they're stained with mud and blood and the general wear and tear of peasant life.
Burning sucks.
