You can't focus with the feeling someone's always looking at you so you look up across the table.
"Can I help you with something?"
The girl sits up straight, looks at you, then eyes dart around for a bit, than back to you. "Oh! um, I was just...wondering why you were over here. Pretty popular girls don't come over here except to make fun of us."
"Don't worry. Erm, Bekah, isn't it?" you ask, and the nerdy girl responds by nodding in agreement. "You're fine, I'm not going to eat you. I'm just trying to finish this homework now so I can relax at the pool after school."
