"Are you sure I can't help in any way? I could really use the coin and maybe you could use the extra hands." You can feel the tired guards though you eye them out. While not particularly fancy or anything, the guards of the milita are well trained and still sexy in their own way. Their bodies are toned and tanned from the long shift in the sun. And you can feel the guardsman don't have much in the form of entertainment as of late. You ponder the thought in your mind and grin a little.

As you walk towards the guards, they look at you arriving. They put their hands on their weapons but one of them says something that puts them a little more at ease, knowing you. You put your hands up nonetheless in a non-threatening matters and address them without restrain.

"Calm down. I'm not here for trouble. I was actually wondering if you needed any help."

One of the guards laugh a little. "Well I'll be damned the day a dark elf asked to help me."

The second guards look at him sternly. "Hey, this is one of the good ones. Show some respect." He then turns to you. "Well I can't say this town doesn't have its share of trouble but I'm not sure how you are going to be of any help lass. The lieutenant got us working a double shift."

Another guard quickly adds, "That doesn't mean we want him dead though." You grin. That reputation of the drow can get you in trouble but gives you an advantage in some situations.
