You pull on the leather gloves. They have an impressive array of spikes on the knuckles that look like they would hurt.
You think about going to the front door to see who knocked, but you could risk getting attacked, you could also stay up here and wait, maybe even hide, then you rmember you have a window you could walk out of and go onto the roof
