You along with your family have recently arrived from your troubled homeland of Russia to make a new life for yourselves in America…the land of opportunity.
The fall of the U.S.S.R. and the introduction of Democracy, had brought many changes to your country and while the fall of the U.S.S.R. was hard to bear for your Strong Communist parents. They chose to accept these new changes, and hoped that as a new age dawned over Russia; the prosperity and happiness that democracy promised would ensure a bright future for you, their only child. However, these dreams were soon shattered by the economic depression that crippled Russia and as events within the country seemed to get only worse as time went on, so did the situation for your family. Money became a constant worry for your mother and as your father came home wounded from the war in Chechnya. It forced your parents to begrudgingly decide to immigrant from the motherland to America. As soon as the decision was made, your house was sold and your Mother got a job with a Russian company that operated in the US. You left Russia within the week and a few days later, arrived at your new home to begin your new life in the US.
