The blonde stiffens up like you've slapped her in the face. 'Yes,' she snaps, 'I was.' You sit in silence for a while. Then she sighs. 'Look, when I first met Arthur I was just a girl, young and naïve. He was brilliant and charming and we... hit it off. At first I was a bit wary of him, being alone in the city.
