You decide to wait for the bus.
Next morning though, the weather has gotten worse. Rain has taken out a bridge between you and your destination, and the road into town is flooded. You're stuck.
You phone up the firm and appraise them of the situation. Your boss opts to send Michael over, and have him travel by another route. When you can safely leave town, you'll join him in Schlecter Vielfrass and the two of you will work together on locating Walfreid von Furchstam.
A couple days later, the road out of town is clear again, and you leave on bus, as planned. The ride goes on and on. Wow, this is really out in the boonies , you think.
