"We're miles from home" comes the response from your dad. You blush as you realize what a stupid suggestion that was.
Suddenly your dad slumps to the ground, clearly in pain. "What's wrong?" you ask as you and Alex rush to his side. "It's my leg" comes the reply from your dad and you see his leg is bleeding with shrapnel in it from the car explosion.
