You ignore the wet spot, why go through all the work of trying to clean it up when it can just do that itself? You turn around to head toward your kitchen only to find a huge wet spot on the carpet there, too. Where did that come from? It wasn't there a moment ago.
You take a few steps to get around it and as if it were a shadow on the floor, the huge spot darts - right in front of your eyes - from where it is, to in front of you again. Where it had been was now completely dry while where it is looked soaked. You turn around to walk away from it and the spot moves again, this time darting right under you. It's still freezing cold, it feels like you're standing on ice with bare feet rather than a simple water spill on the floor.
You:
- Run to the other side of the room, hoping it can't keep up.
- Jump off it.
- Jump to the couch to get off the floor.
