After rubbing the side of your own face, (you really should try not to roll off the couch, it hurts!), you grin watching him rub his eyes.

"We need to go. Your mom is waiting for us in the car."

He continues rubbing his eyes, making you feel bad.

I must have poked him pretty good, you think to yourself.

You know it is not your fault, (you were asleep after all!), but that doesn't make you feel any less guilty.

You decide it is best to just follow him quietly so you don't feel any worse by trying to argue with him.

Grabbing your phone, you follow him out to the car.
