I assume the difference is in the detail and the context of the action, but just how much detail is too much? While it's not an issue for me yet, there will be descriptive swordplay and implied sexual encounters in my story and I want to make sure I categorize the story correctly. | ||

Mature Content Clarification
I'm writing a story under the mature content rating and I would like some clarification as to what this community sees as 'adult' or 'mature'. I assume the difference is in the detail and the context of the action, but just how much detail is too much? While it's not an issue for me yet, there will be descriptive swordplay and implied sexual encounters in my story and I want to make sure I categorize the story correctly.
So yeah, what level of detail in sex, violence and themes is considered too much for a mature rating?
