You decide to attack the monster. A low growl emits from the dark creature. Immediately, you punch it in the nose. It whimpers, and Alex pushes you away.
"What did you do that for? It's only a dog!"
You stare angrily at the dog. "It looks more like a wolf to me."
Alex sighs. "I found it running around near the entrance. That's why I ran away from you in the first place. I can't find a collar. It's really cute, isn't it? I call it Barky." He pets the large canine, saying repeatedly "who's a good boy?" in a babyish voice.
"C'mon," you say. "Let's go back to my family."
Suddenly, the dog starts growling fiercely, and runs towards a dense forest. Alex looks distressed. "Whoa, Barky. What are you doing?"
