She's a stunning picture. But she's not that good. You fight down your baser instincts. She's not worth the trouble of going up against the likes of Marty Riordan.

'Sorry Blondie,' you say. 'No dice.'

The disappointment is clear on her face. 'Very well,' she says finally. Without a word she sweeps out to the door. 'You know the way out,' she says. 'Close the door behind you when you leave, would you? There's a terrible draught.'

With that she's gone, leaving you alone. Just you and the bottle of scotch. You sigh and pour yourself another drink. It was a tough call, but you made the right decision. You go out into the rain, closing the door behind you like she told you to.
