I move left again, but the zombie follows me, like he was expecting it. I'm forced to jump backwards as he darts forward, mouth clamping open and shut.

I bump into someone, and turn to see the pallid face of John Marin. He groans with victory and leans over to rip out my throat before I can even scream. Adam Gold joins in, and the last thing I see is my friends smashing in John and Adam's heads. I close my eyes and the last thing I hear is them arguing whether to kill me before I become one of them. I hope they do.
